West Australians are a lucky bunch. But if you've been paying attention to the sad sacks and the doom merchants since the economy got kicked in the shins, you may be thinking otherwise. But the fact is, WA is actually doing pretty well.
Because our economy is driven by the resources sector, WA hasn't been hit as hard as the eastern states or the rest of the world. And there are plenty of money-talking experts who reckon West Australians are in the best position to build a strong economy.
That's why a bunch of people in the communications industry got together to form the Glass Half Full Committee. Their goal is simple: spread the word of all things good happening in the west and restore some of that consumer confidence that keeps everyone in high spirits. Because if WA's a State of confident people, we can achieve anything.
